Vincent (Vinny) Colardi grew up in Wantagh, New York, where he spent his childhood playing travel soccer, learning guitar, and developing a curiosity that would shape both his career and creative pursuits. Whether he was on the field, practicing music, or exploring history in school, he was always drawn to learning new skills and challenging himself.
After graduating from General Douglas MacArthur High School in 2014, Vincent attended SUNY Farmingdale before transferring to SUNY Old Westbury, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in History, graduating Cum Laude in 2019. Although he enjoyed studying history, he realized he wanted a career where he could make a direct impact on people’s lives. That decision led him to Molloy University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2024 with a Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
During his clinical training, Vincent gained experience at several leading healthcare institutions across New York, including NewYork-Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center, NewYork-Presbyterian Columbia University Irving Medical Center, St. Francis Hospital, NY Cancer and Blood Specialists, and RLS Radiopharmacy. Today, he works as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist at St. Francis Hospital South Bay Cardiovascular in West Islip, where he combines technical precision with compassionate patient care.
Outside the hospital, Vincent is the lead guitarist and songwriter for the band Oolong. Touring across the country has given him a second perspective on discipline, collaboration, and creativity. Whether he is helping patients through diagnostic imaging or writing new music, he believes growth comes from staying curious, putting in consistent effort, and never being afraid to take a different path.
